The
Gipping Valley Angling Club
Junior Academy

'School's Out' Entry Level Teach-Ins
Held, as you'd imagine, in the school holidays, these events are for first-timers & those youngsters with little angling experience.

Junior & Intermediate Leagues
Youngsters can choose to receive tuition as they compete in friendly competition or ...
With initial coaching, youngsters can receive assistance setting up, as required, but fish unaided, although supervised, again, in friendly competition.

Suffolk County
(Graduation!)
Youngsters have the opportunity to represent their county in national competitions, fishing a variety of venues, up & down the country.
(Juniors: under-16s; Intermediates: under-20s)

NOTES: Young coarse anglers require an Environment Agency rod licence from
the age of 12. From this age, youngsters also require a GVAC permit to pleasure-fish
our waters, although our Academy events are open to non-members
(the Intermediate league is for anglers aged under 18, or those in possession
of a junior GVAC permit).

Youngsters aged under 12 wishing to pleasure-fish GVAC waters must be accompanied
by a adult permit holder. (GVAC offer a permit for non-fishing parents/guardians,
available, with the permission only, of the Junior Management Team.)

To book in for any Academy event, call & see Christine at Bosmere Tackle, Needham Market,
contact Steve, Mark or Barry (GVAC & Suffolk County AAA coaches) or email us.

GVAC is a non-profit making organization & our qualified coaches give their time for
these events free-of-charge.
