Based in Needham Market, Suffolk - the location of our largest water - Gipping Valley Angling Club was formed, several years ago, with our original members fishing Needham Lake and four sections of the River Gipping.

We are members of Suffolk County Amalgamated Angling Association (SCAAA) and are affiliated to the Anglers' Conservation Association (ACA), the National Federation of Anglers (NFA) and the Institute of Fisheries Management (IFM).

We have a very active junior and intermediate section and, with the support of our sponsors, run regular demonstrations, teach-ins and matches, open to both members and non-members alike. We endeavour to help and encourage young, inexperienced and less able anglers, enjoy our sport in a safe, secure and friendly environment. Suffolk Disabled Anglers' Forum (SDAF) are affiliated to ourselves, and run regular events on GVAC venues.

Following our annual Graham 'Ginger' Emsden Memorial Match in April 2005, GVAC began sponsoring training of Guide Dogs for the Blind; click here for more details.
